Gargoyle

this was one more of my art works i did in school when i was bored.
I have the original paper scrap somewhere around so i'll upload that eventually too

Made using styrofoam sheeting and normal wood glue.Second step was then to cover it in spray glue(the one you get in spray cans....),let the glue set to harden it then -normally- would be to pass it with a coat of black spray paint.This one instead was done in simple black gouache with some other colours to make it less neutral.

I dont know if its obvious or not on the pics but the whole thing is done in layered sheets (there is 4 layers) to make it look more of a mural sculpture than a simple painting...The beastie itself is on the 1rst layer (not counting the background) ,with the moon and 2 of the smaller buildings.The other buildings,including the one it sits on are layered over each other for that fake sense of depth
